Trust

This morning I am taking the time to pause and recall all the times God has come through for me. The many times I thought I was down-and-out, the game was over with no time left, the pinch was hard in an impossible situation…but then, it all changed. God showing up is one of the most miraculous victories of our existence. It is a display (yet a small one, comparatively) that the Creator of Heaven and Earth is for us. It demonstrates that the world does not control us and objects like time, money, health and strength are no barrier to the God we serve. 

In the heat of the situation, pressure & stress easily cloud this mindset. This is not a normal way of viewing our lives- we’re taught that fate does as it pleases, and that it’s all up to us! But the truth is, I have 0 faith in myself. My trust is in our living God who’s plans for me are abundant and prosperous. Jesus, I know you’ve never let me down. I will focus on and put all my trust in you, confident that you are always with me. Amen.
