Weightless

How grateful I am for the redemptive power of Jesus Christ. While the world intoxicates us with feelings of hopelessness, the Lord breathes His mercy, grace and love into the most broken people and environments to offer new beginnings. 

So many times I have felt the burden of my own sin. I have known defeat and failure more than I could ever count. When I heard the whisper to stay down and wallow in my shame, I felt the Lord’s mighty hand upon me - raising me from my knees and into my feet before Him. In His presence I am renewed. He makes me whole by replacing my brokenness with His unconditional love.

Following Christ is not about perfection, but knowing in His promises we are made new through Him. Being a disciple is trusting the heart of our Father, that no matter how daunting our situation may be, our God is a God of redemption and boundless mercy.
