Who am I? What is my purpose and vision for my life? What is my mission? These are the existential questions most of us have been asking ourselves since the beginning of time. How do we tie our jobs to a higher calling? How do we translate our work in relationships, be it marriage or friends or family, to a purpose intertwined with God’s commission?

In a world that is so career-oriented and production-driven, the question of, “What do you do?” often inspires surface level answers about the actual work we are doing. But isn’t it so much greater than that? Aren’t we more than the sum of our accomplishments, dreams and aspirations? Ponder hard about the spiritual undertaking we are taking up with our time on earth to make our work so much bigger than our titles or position. For we are sewing into a Kingdom that dwarfs our worldly undertakings.

“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do”. Ephesians 2:10
